AHS Digital arts, under the instruction of Kristopher Prusko, is practally a whole small business within the school, culminating with the in-house grizzWear screenprinting and other materials for the consumption of the AHS community. The program includes graphic design courses, as well as practical hands-on courses for students to use their digital design skills.
In the Graphic course, students learn all aspects of the screenprinting process, including design, screenprint and heat press of apparel, vinyl cutting of stickers and the processing and fulfilling of orders. The profits earned through sales are put right back into the program, to pay for materials and upgraded equipment to provide students with a full spectrum of experience in the industry.
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, grizzWear produced a wide array of products, including: -Spirit wear for sale at school events and via online orders -Custom apparel for school and community groups, school clubs and events -AHS stickers
The grizzWear site takes orders for AHS Tshirts and sweatshirts, as well as a variety of other AHS gear. Visit their website at https://ahsgrizzwear.square.site/.
