Woodworking

The woodworking program at AHS has a long history of excellence at AHS, although like most programs requiring hands on skills, it suffered during the Covid-19 pandemic. Beginning students typically create cutting boards as they learn to use make detailed plans, use saws and sanders, and finally seal their creations with oils or stains.
